Dress Code

Wareham Golf Club has a dress code both on the course and in the Club House. Please could you adhere to the dress code, so that you are not offended should we have to ask you to change. Details of the dress code are below.

Whilst here, we respectively ask you to co-operate with the Committee concerning dress and etiquette on the course and in the clubhouse.
There may be occasions when staff/committee members ask you to:

Change into different attire
Move to a different part of the clubhouse or terrace
Leave the clubhouse/course

We ask that you show respect to those delivering the message as they are carrying out the decisions made by the committee.
If you are unsure of the suitability of your attire, please check with a member of staff.

DRESS ON THE COURSE
Please view the large white board adjacent to the 1st tee for clear and precise information.

1 Shoes
Golf shoes are obligatory on the course. Members and guests are requested NOT to change shoes in the car park at any time in order to reduce the risk of chemicals and disease being transferred to/from the golf course.

2 Clothing
No jeans, tracksuits, collarless shirts, athletic/football type or cargo trousers, trainers or beach attire are allowed.

DRESS IN THE CLUBHOUSE

1 Shoes
Golf shoes are not permitted in the lounge area at any time but are allowed in the stud bar area.

2 Clothing
Smart casual dress, including clean jeans, appropriate to the occasion is expected at all times.

Members are reminded that they are responsible for the appearance and behaviour of their guests both in the clubhouse and on the course.

Children under the age of 12 are not governed by specific dress regulations; however they are expected to be tidily dressed and responsibly supervised.

Many thanks for your cooperation.
